- Claiming
- An unclaimed territory costs between $3 and $150, by size. There are 177 of them.
- Size bands
- Land is not fungible, so it is not priced flat: microstate $3, small $5, medium $10, large $20, major $40, great power $75, superpower $150. Bands rather than a formula, because areas span a 10,000× range and any linear curve would price microstates at fractions of a cent or continents in the thousands.
- Conquest
- A held territory costs 1.5× what its current holder paid, rounded up. Whoever takes it from you pays 1.5× yours.
- One holder
- Each territory has exactly one holder. Taking it removes the previous one — that is the whole game.
- No self-conquest
- You cannot take a territory you already hold. It would only raise your own defence price.
- Ceiling
- No territory can exceed $50,000.
- Payment settles it
- Ownership transfers when payment completes, not when checkout opens. If someone outpays you while you are at the checkout screen, their conquest stands and yours does not overwrite it.

- Outlines are from Natural Earth, public domain. Several are disputed. The dataset is not an endorsement of any border.
